they were yummy!
Running in the snow
We got about 4 inches.
enough to make a decent snow angel
a beautiful Monday morning for our drive down south...

the house Remi's mom did NOT buy
Finn even likes leftover pasta for breakfast (cold)
Our first stop was Wilkesboro, where MB had a meeting at the courthouse, and we had time to wander around.
Wilkes County has only one veteran, but he (I assume) gets some good services.
We found this Greenway that led down to the Yadkin River.
Still a little snow left on the ground down here in the piedmont.

At our lunch stop, Crusoe found a puddle to play in, so we had to strip off his wet clothes.
What a lagniappe! We found this fabulous playground in Gamewell, NC, just south of Lenoir (MB's second work stop).
There were toys for older kids, too.
Finally back in Sylva, we ate at Speedy's pizza for supper. Crusoe has this interesting habit of turning his head sideways when he looks at us across the table.
Finn copies.
Can I have the last piece of pizza, Mama?!
We packed lighter this time, only using half the cart space... well, two-thirds.
