On Monday, we went to Tweetsie Railroad for the first time since Crusoe was 5 months old.
(He's 30 months old now!)
Finn and MB almost didn't make it. Finn was feeling sick in the morning and had thrown up several times from the wee hours until noon. But she so badly wanted to join the rest of us, so she brought her 'throw up cup' (as she calls it) with her on all her rides. (She never used it, fortunately.)
(At the end of the day, when Maribeth asked her what her favorite part was, she said the boat ride.)
Charlie likes to drive; Crusoe likes to ring the bells.
Riding the chair lift down the mountain
We learned that the best time to ride the cars was during and after a little rain shower. The line emptied quickly and we were able to go twice without waiting in line again.
Lead car: Charlie & Katy; (some stranger); Sydney & Pop; Finn & MB; (Crusoe & Remi)
Crusoe LOVED driving these cars. We did this ride 3 times.

The Merry-Go-Round was another favorite
Finn requested to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl (not feeling so sick anymore, I guess?), but halfway through she said, "Mama, I'm done with this ride. I want to get off." Crusoe just buried his head behind my back.
Finn was brave enough to get on stage with the cloggers, but only if Mama sat nearby on the floor.
Fortunately, Remi wore her matching pink shirt to coordinate with the cloggers' belt/bands.
Aboard the Tweetsie Train
That train whistle is loud. But the horses didn't startle. They must be used to it.
The paparazzi
Great shots and they all look so very happy and healthy!
