Happy 41st Birthday, Remi/Mom!

 Yay!  Our first day on the beach.  Kids had fun in the sand and the water.

Crusoe spent a lot of his time doing this.

 Finn gave me a special saltwater-sand hair treatment.

 Finn also napped unconventionally.

 Crusoe developed this gargantuan swollen ear.

I took him to the local pharmacist who thought it might be an allergic reaction to a bite or a bacterial infection.  Fortunately, it went away by the next day, and he had two normal-sized ears again.
