Not one, but TWO Memorial Day cookouts

Test-driving the tents and toys for the cookout
We tried to hang another swing (for adults), but were stymied for the time-being.

Our new friends, Jason and his daughter, Grey, with another new friend, Johanna.

Teddy trying corn-on-the-cob for the first time

 Rachel, Johanna's mom
Crusoe with corn; Jacky with bat
Retrieving the watermelon from the creek:  Alexis, Taylor, MB, and Kimberley (Grey's mom, another new friend)

Maribeth took Jason and Kimberley on a poison ivy i.d. lesson (and jewelweed, its antidote).
 Taylor, Riley, Finn, Kristen, Teddy
 expressive faces
 the pool was popular

 so was watermelon
The party continued on Monday, with lots of leftovers, friends who wanted to come back, and some others who couldn't make it on Sunday.

Jacky helped teach us how to cook ribs.

Erica holding Finn, Richard, Lisbeth holding Zeus (who is one month younger than Crusoe), Darlin and Juan

Darlin, 3, was very affectionate toward Crusoe, and vice versa.
