Happy Grandparents' Day!

This one's for Yia-Yia, Nana, Granny Pat, Gran, Pop, and Hop.
Here's what your grandchildren did on Grandparents' Day:

They learned the value of a good work ethic by spending the entire day (after a late, relaxed Sunday breakfast, of course) working in the yard, picking up rocks, digging out roots, cutting weeds, spreading mulch, and chopping off stumps. (Or at least their moms role modeled all that for them.)

Hooray for my moms!

When Crusoe started chewing his toes,...

...we stopped to break for lunch.

Finn's baby was ready for a nap...

...and so was Finn, we thought,...

...but the work was just too distracting and exciting to watch.

Hap Crusoe slept better inside in his swing.

He's ready for his next boxing match.

  1. Love the work ethic modeling, of course! Your yard space is wonderful and your kids are darling. Thanks for the Grandparents' Day Photo-Blog.
