After a year on the market, our Winston house finally sold. yippppeeeee!
We tried to sell our furniture to the buyers as well, but they only wanted our bakers' rack and lawnmower. This necessitated a trip to the big city to reclaim our furniture, since we did not want to just give it away. On May 29, we drove down with my dad's trailer and made a visit to Nancy as well.

When we got home, we got busy unpacking our new (old) furniture.
We had no room in our kitchen for a dining room table, so we decided to take out the kitchen island...
...and put it on our deck! It makes a great serving table, right next to the grill.Here's the view from our kitchen now:

We were excited to show off our remodeling, so we invited friends over for a Memorial Day cookout...here they come!
Finn made this great find at the "Baldwin Mall" (aka recycling center on 221).Now she really does have a car like her cousin Charlie.
Crusoe can't wait until he's old enough to get behind the wheel.
