Sisters, spouses, and significant others at Mt. Paddy

We had loads of family come spend a fabulous weekend with us April 8-10.

Morgan, Luke, and Fiona arrived first, driving up from Augusta.
Of course, Gran was already here, but she has her own house now, so she's local.

Finn welcoming her cousin Fiona with a kiss.

Anna & Ivan arrived next, all the way from Minnesota.

We enjoyed opening day at the farmers' market, with fresh vegetables and bread and babies.

Books were a theme of the weekend, especially with so many engaging and animated aunts, uncles, and Gran to read them.
Gran gave us a book about keeping chickens.

Finn loves her Piggies book from Anna.
Thanks to Ivan, Finn now has some sporty new Twins apparel, and she wears it well. I see baseball in her future...
.. and her brother's. Twins colors look good on Crusoe as well.

Marian treated us to this magnificent wood pile of excellent hardwood,
all from one black cherry tree!
She stacked this all by herself!

We got dirty...

...then we got clean...

...and sacked out from sheer exhaustion.

We awoke Sunday morning to a beautiful day and breakfast on the deck
with Mt. Jefferson as our backdrop.

What a wonderful weekend! We miss you, Wade & Tina & Chris.

  1. Oh Remi, You captured that extraordinary weekend so well! It was special to relive it through pictures and your text. I know there will be plenty 'more-of-the-same!'

  3. We miss you, too. We'll make it next time. And we'll bring the youngest member of the family with us.
