For this entire week, Crusoe has asked to wear panties or undies instead of diapers. I have agreed, with the caveat that he must tell me when he has to go pee or poop and then use the potty. He did!
We even went on 4 outings this week and he successfully wore underwear each time we went out into the world.
On Tuesday we went to the grocery store and he waited until we got home to pee.
On Wednesday, we picked up a friend at home and then drove back to drop her off. He stayed dry.
On Thursday, we went to story time at the library. He had to pee while we were there, but did not want to use the library bathrooms (the toilets have a ferocious flush that also scares Finn), so we went outside, discreetly.
On Friday, we went to visit our friends Kristen and Teddy. On the way home, he said, 'pee! pee!', so I pulled over, sensing his urgency. I barely got his pants down before he peed on the side of the road.
He's even taking naps diaper-free and staying dry.
