A December visit from Yia-Yia, Pop, & Charlie

Don, Rhunell, and Charlie came to visit us this weekend, so they could pick out a Christmas tree from Ashe County, "the largest producer of Christmas trees east of the Mississippi."

Finn & Charlie enjoyed eating at their own private table.

Searching for the perfect Christmas tree... there were so many good ones!
Our friends Kristen & David invited us to come cut one from their lot.
Crusoe wanted to get his hand in to wave Hi in this picture.

 Yippeeee!

At the last minute, we decided to get a small one for our house, too.

After we got our trees loaded, we enjoyed some of Kristen's hot apple cider and gingersnaps and brownies with Beth and Ralph, who had also selected a 9-foot tree for their holidays.
